Jose R. Colon, 70, of Jersey City, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. 

Jose came to Jersey City in the 1960s from Aibonito, Puerto Rico. He worked at Selected Transportation in Keasby, NJ for many years as a Dock Shipper. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He Leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Maria (nee Ortiz); his children, Jose Colon, Jr., Jailenne Colon and Brian J. Colon; his brother Francisco Colon and his wife Delia; his sisters Nereida, Rosa and Ana Maria Colon; and two grandchildren, Chanel and Jonathan.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visiting on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
