Peter Stirling Smith

Peter Stirling Smith, born in Boonton, NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving daughters on January 29, 2024 at the age of 63. Peter is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maryruth Smith and their twin daughters Rebecca Smith and wife Penélope Santana. Daughter Jessica Gallego and husband Melvic Gallego, his grandsons Chase & Myles Gallego.

An amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, hunting buddy, scrabble champion and friend. Pete’s love of the outdoors was contagious and his kindness will alway be remembered. Peter dedicated his life to a career of carpentry. He received the gift of second chances with two double lung transplants in a two year period. 

Over the past three yeast Peter lived life with determination, gratitude, and courage. He leaves behind a life lesson for all. We can experience bravery and fear at the same time, never allow your fear discourage your bravery to live.
